Lynn Stricklan – President
Lynn, along with his wife Kay, volunteered in Tanzania in 2001. As a result of that experience and the friendships formed, Tutaweza was created. Lynn has founded and been an officer of several successful companies in the high tech field, and was involved with the initial launch of Google services in sub-Saharan Africa.
Andrew Mbughi – In-country Director
Andrew currently works as a Laboratory Technician for St. Josephs Paramiho Hospital in Tanzania. His background as a school administrator and teacher, as well as his many contacts within the country, make him an ideal representative for Tutaweza. Andrew is responsible for pre-screening student applicants, evaluating schools and administering the funds within Tanzania.
Barbara Cribari Johnson – Vice President
Barb is a web designer and metrics program manager for Agilent Technologies in Colorado Springs. Tutaweza benefits from her 30+ years of experience in the business world, as well as her high energy level and ideas for fund-raising. Barb has a strong commitment to education and has volunteered with the Pikes Peak Library District literacy program.
Jeffrey Seabaugh – Treasurer
Jeff is the Vice President of Operations for NAVSYS Corporation, a Colorado GPS innovation company. He holds an MBA from Colorado Technical University and his work experience in project management, operations, accounting and financial analysis is crucial to maintaining a sound financial footing for Tutaweza.
